XẸO

#CODE21M047

Day of rescue: 17/04/2021

Initial conditions:
  •  At that time Xeo was about 10 days old, she fell from the roof of a toilet. Since then Xeo has had signs of convulsion, which are rare because she is in the age of sleeping a lot. She sleeps soundly like a normal kitten; but when she wakes up, gét up or startles herself she will go into convulsions from slight to severe depending on which time.
  • When she is not in a convulsion, and walks by herself, she tends to walk in a circle or counterclockwise (basic symptoms of neurological diseases or diseases relating to weak nerves in cats and dogs).
  • Xeo totally doesn’t want milk or doesn’t know how to drink milk, the milk fed to her seems to not be swallowed even when it is given little by little to avoid choking. When stroking from the top of her head to the back of her neck, it feels quite soft, not as hard as her forehead.

Current condition:
Now Xeo can still control her four legs but is totally blind, has no sense of direction, and just lies in her cage all day. Luckily Xeo still asks for food and likes to eat, Xeo is the most active when she finds her own eating bowl.
It’s very sad that Xeo may have to stay forever at the foster home. Maybe Xeo is one of the cases that have no hope of finding their owners.
