Initial status:
A volunteer of our Team came across him at the back of a block. When asking the inhabitants, it is known that Tom had been around there for quite a while. He was a little puppy, about 4 to 5 months old. He had a bony appearance which was patched with scabies. In fact, one of his right leg was severely infected and experiencing necrosis.
At first, Tom was really timid and self-defensive. Whenever approached, he barked while running far away from us. Eventually, he came over for some food because of his hunger.
Current status:
Now Tom can eat pretty well. However, he’s still suffering from severe skin infection and scabies. We are working on moving him to another clinic for more specific treatment.
